Career Mentor
Lois is a Civil and Environmental Engineer, Entrepreneur, STEM advocate and mentor and public speaker, dedicated to empowering women in STEM to thrive in their careers. With over 8 years of professional experience in water and infrastructure projects, she brings both technical expertise and a passion for mentorship. As the Founder of Adelois Consulting and Co-Founder of AfriteQ Academy, Lois supports women navigating early career transitions, helping them build confidence, unlock opportunities, and achieve lasting success in STEM fields. Beyond her engineering career, Lois has mentored through leading organizations including the Society of Women Engineers, Association of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria, CAWSTEM, University of Lagos, Humber College, and the University of British Columbia’s mentorship program. She holds a bachelors and masters degree in Environmental Engineering from Swansea and Newcastle University respectively.
Career Mentor
Seyi is a cross-functional data and analytics leader with expertise spanning business intelligence, administration, and life sciences. She currently works as Data Product Owner, where she drives data-informed strategies that support customer experience, revenue growth, and operational excellence. With over a decade of experience in analytics, product ownership, and stakeholder engagement, Seyi excels at translating complex data into meaningful insights for business users. She’s a certified Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, AI Associate, and Administrator. Beyond her corporate role, Seyi co-founded StayInBio to empower African bioscience graduates, and actively serves in leadership and mentoring roles with YEEPI Foundation and CAWSTEM. She holds advanced degrees in Biochemistry and Data Science, along with a Mini-MBA from the Rotman School of Business. Seyi is passionate about building inclusive, data-driven, and future-ready communities, both inside and outside the boardroom.

Amarachi is a UX and content writer with over 4 years of experience creating words that guide, delight, and convert. She specializes in simplifying product flows, designing content systems, and crafting full funnel strategies that make brands sound more human and products feel built for their users. Her expertise lies at the intersection of content and clarity. Whether shaping mobile onboarding, rewriting error messages, or transforming complex landing pages into seamless user journeys, she brings empathy, research, and creativity. With a track record across SaaS, e-commerce, and digital agencies, she has led content projects that improved usability, boosted conversions, and built lasting trust. Alongside her professional work, she is passionate about mentoring women in tech and STEM. She supports early-career professionals in building confidence, navigating opportunities, and thriving in industries where diverse voices are needed most. Currently, she is focused on helping tech teams and startups develop brand first content systems, write meaningful microcopy, and tell better product stories while using AI thoughtfully to scale without losing voice or value.

Olaitan is an Agile Product Designer with over 5 years of experience creating user-centered digital products. Though he began his journey aspiring to be a frontend developer, a university internship sparked his passion for design. He discovered that while coding was exciting, shaping the product experience before development was his true calling. Since then, Olaitan has specialized in designing digital blueprints for SaaS products and has collaborated with product teams across industries including e-commerce, fintech, real estate, and lifestyle. While versatile, he has a particular passion for fintech, where he enjoys combining creativity, strategy, and usability to deliver products that resonate with users. Beyond product design, Olaitan is committed to mentorship, supporting early-career designers and women in STEM who are looking to build confidence and thrive in the tech space. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge, offering guidance, and helping the next generation of product professionals grow.
