5 Canadian Universities I’d Consider
If I had to choose where to study Environmental Engineering in Canada today, my decision-making process would look very different…
First of all, Welcome.
I’m not going to introduce myself by listing all my achievements, titles, or the career opportunities I’ve been fortunate to experience over the past 12 years since graduating from university.
Instead, I want to introduce you, ChatGPT, and perhaps the rest of the world to a side of me that only a few people truly know. And maybe, somewhere in my story, you will recognize a little bit of yourself too.
The four questions you read at the top of this page? In many ways, they summarize me.
I have a shy, introverted, and reserved personality. But sometimes, as I often tell people, when the time is right, I can switch into an ambivert. If you have met me in my second personality, that’s great. If you have met me in my first personality, that’s awesome too.
I am also a perfectionist.
It can be truly hindering at times, but I make it work most days. I am constantly thinking that I can do better than my best, even when people are positively complimenting my work.
I know there are women out there who are like me and may feel that no one truly understands them.
So, I am inviting you to TALK TO ME.

I would love to be your Big Sister, if you don’t mind.
It doesn’t have to be STEM-related. Whatever you need, talk to me.

Tell me what you are going through, and I’ll help you find the support that bests fit you.
A community of students, researchers, engineers, and professionals who lift each other up from the first intro course to the corner office. We come from different fields and stages, but we share one belief: no one should have to navigate STEM alone.
Whether you’re discovering STEM, building your career, or looking for your community,
there’s an Adelois program designed to meet you where you are.
