Hi, I’m Lois. Your big sister in STEM!
And I know what it feels like to be capable but unsure of your next move. Seven years ago, I was in your shoes, graduated, ambitious, and quietly lost.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s shortly after, but somewhere along the journey I struggled to get a job and eventually moved back home to begin practicing. What I needed was a Big Sister in STEM. What I had was a Big Brother in Engineering.
Today, as a Civil and Environmental Engineer with over 10 years of experience across engineering, mentorship, STEM advocacy, and leadership, I’ve seen how many talented women struggle not because they lack potential, but because they lack guidance, clarity, and support. That’s why I created Adelois.
