Become a Mentor.

Join our global network of mentors guiding the next generation of STEM leaders.

Inspire. Empower. Transform.

As an Adelois mentor, you’ll help emerging STEM professionals gain the clarity, confidence, and support they need to thrive. By sharing your journey and lessons learned, you’ll empower them to navigate challenges and feel a true sense of belonging in their field. And in the process, you may uncover new perspectives about your own path, too.

Mentorship FAQs

Mentors are STEM professionals, graduates, or educators with at least 2 years of experience and a passion for guiding young professionals. We welcome mentors from all STEM disciplines and backgrounds.

We currently offer two core programs designed to support emerging STEM talent: STEMUp Mentorship and Career Launchpad. Both are delivered virtually via Zoom over 8 weeks on Saturdays and facilitated by an Adelois team lead. Mentors are to commit to about 1 hour per week over an 8-week period. Sessions are virtual and flexible based on mutual availability.

Our mentees are students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals (typically aged 18–30) looking for clarity, confidence, and direction in their STEM journey.

We provide mentor training, a digital welcome guide, structured weekly themes, conversation prompts, and access to our mentor support team.

Topics range from career planning, resume reviews, interview prep, workplace dynamics, to navigating STEM fields. Each mentor-mentee relationship is unique and based on the mentee’s goals.

Mentorship is currently offered on a volunteer basis as part of our commitment to equitable career access. However, mentors receive certificates, gift cards, recognition, and access to exclusive Adelois events and tools.

We match participants based on shared career interests, industry background, and availability. You’ll receive a mentee profile before your first meeting.

Yes! If you have the time and capacity, you're welcome to mentor more than one mentee. We recommend starting with one for your first cohort.
