Why FutureHer
Many girls are interested in STEM but may not yet understand the opportunities available to them, how their strengths connect to different STEM fields, or what steps they can take to prepare for the future.
FutureHer gives girls early access to the guidance, role models, practical skills, and encouragement they need to explore STEM with confidence. Through mentorship, interactive learning, and career exposure, participants begin to see STEM as a future they can actively shape.
The program helps each girl build the confidence, curiosity, and connections needed to make informed choices, pursue her interests, and take meaningful steps toward her future in STEM.
About the Program
The FutureHer Mentorship Program is a four-week virtual experience designed to help girls explore STEM, discover their strengths, and begin building a future they feel excited about.
Through interactive sessions, practical activities, mentor conversations, and peer learning, participants are introduced to different STEM pathways while developing confidence, curiosity, communication, problem-solving, and goal-setting skills.
Each week takes participants through a different stage of their journey, from understanding where they fit in STEM to creating a personal action plan for their next steps.
FutureHer connects girls with inspiring women in STEM who share honest experiences, practical guidance, and encouragement. By the end of the program, participants leave with greater career awareness, stronger confidence, meaningful connections, and a clearer vision for their future in STEM.

How Is the Program Structured
The FutureHer Mentorship Program is delivered virtually over four weeks, with each week focused on a different stage of a girl’s STEM discovery and development journey.
Week 1: Discovering Myself in STEM
Participants explore their interests, strengths, values, and the types of problems they would like to solve through STEM.
Day 2: Building My Future in STEM
Participants learn about different STEM fields, education options, emerging careers, and the experiences of women working across STEM industries.
Week 3: Building Future-Ready Skills
Participants develop practical skills in communication, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, leadership, and goal-setting.
Week 4: Creating My FutureHer Plan
Participants reflect on their learning, connect with mentors, set personal STEM goals, and create a clear action plan for their next steps.
On Completion of the FutureHer Mentorship Program, You Will Walk Away With:

Application timeline
From application to cohort kickoff.
Selected participants will receive an acceptance email containing the payment link, parent or guardian consent form, and onboarding details. Participation will be confirmed once all required forms and payment have been completed.

The Discovering Myself in STEM Workbook for Girls was created to help girls explore these questions in a simple, encouraging, and practical way.

Every choice we make in FutureHer is filtered through one question: is this safe and visible to her parent or guardian?
Vetted Big Sisters only
Every mentor is a Big Sister in STEM with verified credentials and a documented background check. We never pair girls with unvetted volunteers.
Group Sessions only
Your daughter is matched with a Big Sister, a real woman in STEM, not a chatbot or generic curriculum. Mentorship that meets her where she is.
Sessions Recorded & Shared
Every live session is recorded and the link shared with parents within 24 hours. You can review any session your daughter attends.
Weekly Parent updates
Each week we send parents an email summary of what was covered, what’s coming next, and how their daughter is engaging.
Parent Consent required
Every application requires written parent or guardian consent. Parents have direct access to the team for any concern, any time.
Easy Withdrawal
If the first week isn’t right for her, we offer an easy withdrawal process within 7 days of cohort start.

Who can apply?
The program is designed for girls aged 13–18 who are interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, sustainability, or related fields.
Is the program virtual?
Yes. All sessions, mentor conversations, activities, and presentations will take place online.
How long does the program run?
FutureHer runs for four weeks, with one live virtual session each week. Participants will also complete short activities between sessions.
What will participants learn?
Participants will explore their strengths and interests, learn about different STEM pathways, develop communication and problem-solving skills, connect with women in STEM, and create a personal action plan.
How are participants selected?
Applications are reviewed based on interest in STEM, readiness to participate, responses to the application questions, and available spaces.
Is there a program fee?
Yes. FutureHer is a paid mentorship program. Selected applicants will receive the payment information with their acceptance email.
Is parent or guardian consent required?
Yes. Participants under 18 must submit a completed parent or guardian consent form before their place can be confirmed.
How much time should participants commit?
Participants should plan for the weekly live session and approximately extra one hour each week for reflection activities, assignments, or project preparation.
Do participants need to attend every session?
Participants are expected to attend all four sessions and complete the required activities to receive the full benefit of the program and qualify for a certificate.
Will every participant receive an individual mentor?
Participants will receive mentorship through structured group or small-group conversations. A permanent one-to-one mentor match is not guaranteed.
