The STEM Sisters Bootcamp creates a welcoming space where participants can better understand their strengths, explore their future in STEM, build confidence, and learn from mentors and peers who understand the journey.
The program goes beyond inspiration. Participants leave with practical career guidance, stronger self-belief, meaningful connections, and a clear action plan for their next steps in STEM.
About the Program
The STEM Sisters Bootcamp is a free three-day virtual experience designed for girls and early-career women who want greater clarity, confidence, and direction in their STEM journey.
Through interactive sessions, practical activities, mentorship, and peer conversations, participants will explore their strengths, identify career possibilities, build a personal action plan, and connect with a supportive community of women in STEM.
Each day focuses on a key stage of growth:
Day 1
Discovering Me in STEM
A guided self-discovery session designed to help you understand who you are, what you bring, and where you could fit in STEM. Explore your strengths, interests, values and experiences while building greater clarity and confidence in your STEM journey.
Day 2
Career ER
Career ER is a hands-on career clinic where we focus on one career tool at a time. From resumes and LinkedIn profiles to portfolios, interviews and networking, you’ll work on your own materials during the session and leave with practical improvements you can use right away.
Day 3
Big Sister Networking
Connect, learn and build relationships with women who understand the STEM journey. Big Sister Networking gives you the opportunity to meet STEM professionals, practise introducing yourself, ask real career questions, and learn how to build meaningful professional connections that can support your next move.
Participants will leave with practical career guidance, meaningful connections, clear next steps, and a certificate of participation.
STEM Sisters Bootcamp Monthly Schedule
The bootcamp will run every four weeks from Wednesday to Friday, with each cohort completing three live virtual sessions.

Lois Adeyemo is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, public speaker, STEM advocate, and engineer with a distinguished career in water resources and healthcare spanning over nine years. As the Founder of Adelois Consulting and Co-Founder of AfriteQ Academy, she is at the forefront of driving innovation in STEM education, mentorship, and professional development.
With a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree from Swansea University, UK, Lois blends technical expertise with strategic leadership. A multifaceted professional, she is also a proficient graphic designer and website builder.

Do I need any special equipment?
You will need a phone, tablet, or computer, a stable internet connection, and a quiet place where you can participate in the sessions.
How will I know if I have been selected?
Selected participants will receive an email containing their acceptance, session schedule, virtual access details, and onboarding information.
How do I apply?
Complete the online application form before the deadline. Applications are reviewed for each monthly cohort, and spaces may be limited.
Is the bootcamp virtual?
Yes. All sessions are delivered online, so participants can join from any location with a stable internet connection.
How long does the program run?
Each cohort runs for three consecutive days. Participants attend one live interactive session each day.
What will I learn?
Participants will explore their strengths and interests, learn about STEM career possibilities, set practical goals, create an action plan, and connect with mentors and peers.
What activities are included?
The bootcamp includes live learning sessions, personal reflection exercises, group discussions, practical activities, mentorship, networking, and access to useful resources.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who attend and complete the required activities will receive a certificate of participation.
