Frequently asked questions

Everything you're wondering before you apply.

Can I do LaunchHer while working full-time?

Yes. We designed it that way. Month 1 requires about 2 hours per week of focused time (mostly evenings, with one workshop session). Months 2 and 3 are flexible and self-paced, with bi-weekly pod check-ins and your 1:1 sessions scheduled around your calendar. Most participants are working or studying full-time.

LaunchHer is open to women across all STEM disciplines — engineering, computer science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, data science, physics, environmental science, and STEM-adjacent fields. Mentors are matched to your specific area.

We accept up to 20 women per cohort. We’re not looking for a perfect CV — we’re looking for women who are committed to showing up, doing the work, and supporting their pod. Honesty about where you are matters more than polish.

What if I miss a live session?

All live workshops are recorded and available within 24 hours. Your pod and Big Sister are there to help you stay on track if life gets in the way for a week.

Yes. We reserve need-based scholarship spots in each cohort for women for whom the full tuition isn’t accessible. Indicate scholarship interest in your application. We believe access matters.

LaunchHer is for early-career women (0-5 yrs) seeking direction and mentorship. STEM Sisters Bootcamp is an intensive skills programme. If you’re not sure which is for you, book a quick consultation and we’ll point you to the right one.
