Big Sister WCW Spotlight: Meet Tanuvi Bali
This week, our Big Sister WCW Spotlight celebrates Tanuvi Bali, Senior Manager in Data and AI at PwC, whose career reflects curiosity, continuous growth, and a commitment to using technology to solve real-world problems.
With more than 10 years of experience in technology consulting, Tanuvi leads projects across the AI lifecycle, from developing AI strategy to implementing solutions across industries including financial services, energy, utilities, and transportation. Her work also includes building AI value management frameworks and supporting executive leadership with AI adoption. She was also recognized as one of the Top 25 Women in Technology in Canada by Betakit and Toast.
Tanuvi’s journey into STEM was shaped by a desire to solve complex problems at scale. Starting in market research and analytics, she saw how data and technology could influence better decisions. That curiosity eventually led her into technology consulting and AI.
One of the challenges she faced was working with highly technical teams without coming from an engineering background. At times, she hesitated to speak up because she did not see herself as the subject matter expert. A mentor reminded her that comfort and growth often move in opposite directions, encouraging her to lean into learning, upskilling, and increasingly challenging projects.
